Team Thunder

The team t-shirts came in this week and have been past out to the students who order one.

Don’t forget Monday is the fieldtrip to Castaic Water Agency. Please make sure you bring a sack lunch. We will be eating and hanging out at Central Park before we come back to school.

Tuesday is our Team Day and you will not need anything for your classes except for your 6 period class.

If you would like to order a team Thunder t-shirt for your child, order forms went home. The shirts are $15.00 for S,M, L, and XL. The color will be Black. Please send cash with the order form by Friday October 9th. The T-shirts are used for team actvities and school spirit days. Get those orders in soon ASAP!

We will be going to the Castaic Water Agency on Monday, October 19th. Permission slips were passed out to all students on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 14th & 15th from Mrs. Wood. They are due back to Ms. Norton NO LATER than Sept. 30th. Students will need to bring a sack lunch on the day of the trip. Any questions, feel free to ask a Team Thunder teacher.

Parents and Students please check snapgrades to see if your email address is correct. We have noticed some student accounts are lacking parent emails and/or student emails. We have also noticed typos in some of the emails so you may not be getting our mass emails about assignments and grades. It would help when we send information out if we have your correct email accounts. Snapgrades can help if we have your correct information to ensure success for everyone.

Tuesday night was very successful, we got to meet a lot of parents and help get some very important information to the new 7th grade parents and hopefully a review for the returning parents. I hope everyone who made it got all of their questions answered. If you did not make it we will see you at back to school night. Remember we are only an email away. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Don’t forget tomorrow is the meet the teachers from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. It will be great night to meet us before back to school night. We will discuss a few things about our classes and how to help your child be successful on our team. You will also get to meet Mrs. Gina Burns our team counselor.

Please review all team information your child brought home that they received in Mrs. Wood’s class. Please sign and return all signature pages.

Meet the Team night is Tues. Aug. 25th from 6:30 -7:30.  The RSVP form is due back to Mrs. Wood by Thursday, Aug. 20th.

Team Checklist is due back to Mrs. Wood  by Friday, August 21st.
